The best part of NOT restricting your eating habits is that meals can be super simple to make. In the mornings I’m usually a savory type of person and I opt for a breakfast sandwich. My go-to bread is sourdough. Sourdough bread acts a prebiotic, so the fiber from the sourdough will help feed our “good” bacteria in our gut. This is important so that our digestive system is happy, stable, and healthy.
🥑 NEXT I love slathering avocado all over the sourdough bread for that perfect blend of healthy fat (monounsaturated fats are your friends). Avocados are also loaded with fiber so it helps to keep you full longer ✨
To top it all off, I like to add hard boiled eggs for some protein. One large egg 🥚 has 6 g of protein, which is still good! I like knowing my egg is a source of lean protein, meaning it will fill me up without adding in too many calories 🙌🏽
